Success is the ability to fail and continue trying. We have foresight if we can see the consequences of our actions. To be able to judge or evaluate these actions, however, we must be able to look ahead. We also must be capable of looking back on our actions so that we may change by observing them. Living life creatively requires both of these perceptions- both looking ahead and looking back. They are ways of knowing the world and ourselves.
